Very Very Very rad. I love the Pop art feel to it. The sky and clouds really stand out to me. and the clocks are a nice retro touch. Great job Lisar!

It is a bit more pop art than surrealism... maybe I'll move it later. I've never done anything like it before, so I'm glad that I'm getting generally positive feedback. Also, I couldn't quite place why I liked that particular clock so much, and now I've got it! Retro! Thanks a bunch.

Yeah, yeah, you're amazing and all that. :sarcasticclap: Thanks. (:

As for the concept, I kind of have a nagging preoccupation with time. :slow: Clocks were really the most logical choice for me.

The rays: No specific trick. I already had the darker blue as a solid background, so just used polygonal lasso tool to select each of the lighter rays on a new layer. (I had the gridlines on to make sure they were all even in size.) Then I filled the selection white, changed the opacity, and added a striped pattern overlay and stroke. :aww: Done!

I'd be glad to. :pat: I'll go through it with you some time... see if I can get Aaron to tell me how to make it so that you can see what's going on on my monitor. :plotting:

Oh, wow! I like this piece a lot. Reminds me of that other famous art piece...can't remember what's called, but it has all those men coming down like rain and they all have umbrellas. It's very nice.
